Handicaps, Grades, and Rankings

In tournaments handicaps, grades, and rankings are used to allocate players to the appropriate flight and determine seedings.

Different systems are used for the three major rule variations of croquet: USCA, Association, and Golf.

USCA Rules Handicaps

Handicaps for members of Croquet Canada participating in all sanctioned USCA Rules tournaments, both in and outside Canada, are maintained by the United States Croquet Association.

Croquet Canada members may view their USCA handicap at:  http://www.croquetamerica.com/usca/handicaps/

Association Laws Grades and Rankings

Player grades and a world ranking list of players are maintained by the Croquet Association.  A Croquet Canada member who has competed in at least one sanctioned Association Laws tournament will be able to find his/her Association Croquet grade and ranking at either of these websites:

http://rank.wcfcroquet.org/cgs/rank.php   or   http://butedock.demon.co.uk/cgs

Golf Croquet Grades and Rankings

Player grades and a world ranking list of players are maintained on the World Croquet Federation Website.

Croquet Canada members can view their Golf Croquet grade and ranking at:

A member who thinks his/her Handicap or Grade is not up to date should contact the tournament director of any recently contested events to check that all results have been submitted to the applicable organization.
